Christina Joyner Esmon, DNP, FNP-C, & PMHNP-BC, is a highly experienced and dedicated nurse practitioner with over 20 years in healthcare and more than a decade of clinic ownership and leadership in Mississippi. As the owner and provider at Marshall Urgent Care, she oversees all clinical operations, delivers comprehensive patient care from pediatrics to geriatrics, and manages a full scope of services including diagnosis, treatment, and lab interpretation. Christina holds advanced degrees including a Doctorate in Nursing and a post-master’s certification in Psychiatric Mental Health, allowing her to provide both primary care and mental health services. She is a DEA-licensed provider, and medical cannabis certifying provider. Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Christina brings extensive experience in rural healthcare, leadership, and whole-family care to every patient she serves.

Stephanie is certified family nurse practitioner with almost 20 years in the healthcare field. She has always strived for compassionate and holistic care. Her experiences began in Women’s health, lactation, and pediatrics where she learned to focus on a family-centered care model that follows through to her family practice. Stephanie also was able to serve in public health within Tate and Tunica counties. She has earned her master’s degree in nursing education and has taught in both career technical and nursing education. While teaching nursing school, Stephanie felt a calling to return to patient care and a drive to be able to serve the community more closely. She worked in long term care while she returned to school and obtained a Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
